David Ryan

About The Artist

David Ryan exhibited at The Cut in March/April, 2007, and work was included in the SITE SPECIFIC on-line only exhibition 2020/21.

Artist’s statement:

David Ryan is a visual artist based in London. His work is concerned with developing simple gestures as the basis for variations, duplications or mirroring. Essentially about constructing spaces, whether utilising musical structures, architecture, or the physical nature of the medium itself. Video works run parallel with painting and in many senses appear as the more literal ‘double’ of the abstract paintings.
