Ivy Smith’s work was also included in the FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING online only exhibition (2020/21).

Ivy Smith studied at Chelsea School of Art 1965 -7 and the Royal Academy Schools 1967-70.She has lived in Norfolk since 1973.

She has work in many public collections including the National Portrait Gallery, The V&A, Graves Art Gallery Sheffield and Norwich Castle Museum

Public commissions include a portrait of Sir Richard and Sir David Attenborough for the National Portrait Gallery, a Jerwood Commission for the Royal College of Paediatrics and paintings for several hospitals around the UK.

She exhibits her work regularly, in solo, group and open exhibitions, and is a visiting tutor at the Royal Drawing School.
