Simon Read

About The Artist

I have always regarded drawing as my way of coming to grips with an idea on the assumption that if I can generate a satisfactory graphic solution, I shall have reached a more complete understanding of its subject.

Drawn Towards: an exhibition of drawings by Simon Read was at The Cut in March/April, 2010.

Simon Read is a practising artist, environmental practitioner, academic researcher with very wide experience exhibiting in UK and abroad with work held in institutional collections internationally.
