Taking Time

Date: May 2024
Exhibition/Show Type: Group
Media: Ceramics, Mixed Media, Painting, Sculpture

Exhibition Description

A group exhibition of work by Eric Butcher, Carol Robertson, Gordon Senior , Trevor Sutton, Eleanor Wood.

Five artists whose work measures, embodies and articulates the passing of time.

Reductive, abstract, working repetitively and in series, each artist embraces a ‘slow art’ approach to making.

Each utilises careful, meticulous methods and a highly developed set of ritualised procedures.

Undaunted by the time it takes, the labour involved, ‘taking time’ is the essence of what brings them together.
